About

Why Combat Sports?

2018 has been an amazing year for both boxing and MMA. Some might even argue that this has been the best year for combat sports ever. There have been great fight such as: Khabib vs Mcgregor, Canelo vs GGG,Anthony Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin and Wilder vs Fury. Both sports fans grew exponentially this year. That is why I decided to base my project on combat sports, and since I find science/biology fascinating I decided to put them both together. I have been watching boxing for a very long time but recently started following MMA since it’s becoming huge. Many people follow these sports for main events and think that it is easy to do what the athletes do. They fights make it look easy, they say it's ‘easy money’, but it’s actually not. Many people coming into combat sports and think they can become the next Connor Mcgregor or Floyd mayweather. I want people to know how dangerous and hard these sports actually are.
